Jen's Column
This column responds to your questions and comments about how you feel about your body, your image of yourself, your struggles with weight and eating disorders OR those of your friends.

About Jen: Jen Charbonneau, Arnprior, Ontario, Motivational Speaker. Jen is passionate about building self-esteem and strength in girls and women today. As a parent of two "awesome" daughters and one great son (ages 16, 15 & 13) and having overcome her own struggles with self-esteem, and a life threatening eating disorder, Jen has a mission to help girls recognize that their true beauty comes from within. She successfully created and facilitates "So Glad 2 Be Me", a healthy body image/self esteem workshop for girls ages 8-12 years.

Something unique about Jen: Jen has completed a Crisis Management Counseling Certificate Program combined with a BA in psychology and the "Kids Have Stress Too" Facilitators program through the Psychology Foundation of Canada. She also completed a Radiant Heart Therapy Certification Program under the guidance and teachings of Susan M Castle, founder of The Essence Method & The Mind-Heart Integration Process, Chicago, Il.

With over 20 years experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Jen is an educator and advocate with the oral implications of eating disorders. Her innovative workshop "Eating Disorder Awareness in Dentistry" is specifically designed to educate dental health care professionals.

Jen's passion: Jen is a motivational speaker who's passion, enthusiasm and honesty will leave you informed and inspired!
