Goddess of the Month - Dou-mu
GODESS OF THE MONTH, October 2007, By Rose
Dou-mu
A.K.A.: “Mother of the Great Wagon”
Goddess of: Recording every single birth and death in the entire world.
Birthplace: China
Origin: Chinese mythology
Favorite Food: Dou-mu eats like a rabbit. She loves carrots and pretty much anything green. Healthy, healthy, healthy, is her mantra.
Favorite Thing To Do: Read the classics.
Strengths: Very good academically, fantastic handwriting, and lives a healthy lifestyle.
Favorite Color: Green, duh!
Challenges: Half the day Dou-mu spends recording the births in the world, while in the other half, she records the sadness of every death in her books. She understandably gets pretty stressed out and can get a little cranky.
Symbol: Dou-mu doesn’t really have a symbol (that’s too bad), but she’s pretty scary looking, with multiple heads, eyes, and arms.
Labeled As (of course we all know labels aren’t for real, right?): Bookworm, but don’t underestimate her, or she’ll whip out her fourth arm!
