Real Girl: Cassandra

Age: 15  Grade: 10  Sign: Taurus

Faves: My favorite colour is pink. I love to dance and watch the TV show " So You Think You Can Dance" and "Big Brother". I also have a random love for raspberries, my favorite holiday is Christmas, and I love to spend time with family & friends :)

Hobbies: I am a competitive dancer and have been dancing since I was three. I take tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, and musical theater. On the little free time I get when I'm NOT dancing, I like to chill with friends, go to the movies, go swimming, and ride my ATV. I also love to travel and to take pictures!

School and Stuff: I go to an arts high school with a dance program, so my favorite subject would definitely be dance ;) My least favorite school subject is math. I've never really been good at math, but neither has my family, so I blame them :) One thing I like about my high school is that we have no uniform. So you can just be yourself.

Personality: Most people when they first meet me would say I'm shy. But as you get to know me, you will realize that I am a caring and considerate person who feels for others. However, If you ask my close friends, they would describe me as crazy.

Life Challenge: My biggest struggle so far has to be when I was in grade 9. I got accused of doing something that I didn't do from a boy I barley knew. This led to harsh consequences that I wouldn't wish upon anybody. Things got complicated at school and at dance and rumors started to spread around school. It was a very difficult time for me, and my family and I were lucky to be able to confide with a very close friend of mine. She was a great support for me to have. This whole experience made me feel angry because I didn't do what I was accused of doing. It would have been easy for me to trash-talk the boy, but instead, I took the high road and kept my mouth shut. In the end, people started realizing that I wasn't who he was making me seem. I was the "good guy" all along and he was a trouble-maker looking for attention. And guess what? He got it! My message to other girls is to stand up for yourself and fight for what's right, and do it with dignity no matter how bad the situation gets.

Proud of: I have had some great experiences in my dance career, some of them being: dancing at the opening ceremonies of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Toronto, winning Markham's Got Talent, and competing at Disney World.

So Cassandra: Hoop earrings, manicured nails, unconsciously tapping in public, being early for everything, feeling bad for people, allergies, body spray, big feet, animal loving & being indecisive are sooo ME!

Cool fact about Cassandra: I can talk with my mouth closed!

Future: Did i mention that I was indecisive?

Pet Peeves: When people chew with there mouth open, act fake just to look cool, and line jumpers!
