Favourites: My favourite colour is blue, my favourite food is spaghetti and my favourite type of music is hip hop, even though I like all types of music. For sports I love to play basketball and dodge ball. I love animals and I have a pet hamster named Daisy and when I was younger I had a pet dog. I really love photography and taking pictures of my friends.

Hobbies: At school my hobbies are sports, and at home I love messaging with my friends on MSN, going to movies, hanging out at the mall and singing.

School & Stuff: I’m in a singing club called ‘Take 2’ at school. It was really hard to get into but I auditioned and made it! I really like to perform, it used to make me so nervous. Now I’m in a musical where I sing and dance. My favourite subjects are Gym and Art. I’m in grade seven this year and I’m really looking forward to our Quebec City trip.

Personality: I am a bit shy, but when I know the people around me I like doing speeches and public speaking. I’m friendly and I don’t really get into arguments with people. It depends who I’m with but I like
to make a good impression.

Life Challenge: When I was younger I thought gossiping was fun. I used to do that a lot and now I regret it because I lost some good friends. Now, I get on the positive side so I don’t get involved in drama at my school. My message to other girls is, “Gossip may be fun but you’ll lose a lot that’s close to you. Try being on the positive side and when people start talking negative get off the subject and try not to get involved.”

Proud of: I’m proud that I stopped gossiping, that I have good friends, and that lately I’ve been studying harder
and getting better marks in French.

So Krista: Taking pictures of my friends, smiling, my new side bangs, and being on the athletic council is so me! When sports events are going on I do attendance and help out. My gym teacher nicknamed me smiley-face because I smile all the time.

Cool Fact about Krista: For New Year’s my family gathers around and says positive things to each other. My nationality is Korean but I was born in Canada. I speak English and Korean as well.

Future: In the future I would love to get into photography on a professional level. Maybe as a nature photographer or a photography critic.
I also want to go to Italy.

Pet Peeve: My biggest pet peeve is that I hate animal testing, I wish there was no such thing.
