Faves: Some of my favourite things are the colour grey, shoes (Converse especially), graphic tshirts, my grey cardigan, my guitar, Paramore, MuchMusic, Harry Potter, Glee and my best friends. I also love pasta, anything with cheese and peanut butter pickle sandwiches. 

Hobbies: I enjoy playing and listening to music, just hanging around, and swimming. I am currently training to get my Lifeguard certification in a few months!

School and Stuff: My favourite class at school is English. This year I am a part of the Pit Orchestra for our school's production of Beauty and the Beast where I play the alto saxophone.

Personality: I tend to be a little shy towards people I don't know, but my friends say that I can be crazy sometimes ;) They also say that I am trustworthy, sweet, smart and funny.

Life Challenge: Something I have struggled with in my life is being insecure about my body. It has been hard, especially being in high school, to be so unsure about myself. Luckily, I have my mom and good friends around me that show me that everyone's bodies are different, and even though mine might not be the way I want it to be, it's still my body. My friends help me learn to love myself more and my mom is so helpful she is always around to give me a hug. I love her so much. My message to other girls who are insecure about their bodies is that everyone's bodies are different but they are totally you and when you love your body you feel like you can take on the world.

Proud of: I am proud of the fact that I have been in so many concerts at my school. Each year I get braver and better, which makes me happy.

So Lauren: Wearing Converse, eating frozen waffles (my friends think it's so funny they don't even ask to toast them anymore, they just hand me one right from the freezer), music, swimming, saying "Oh boy", and Harry Potter posters in my room are soooo ME!

Cool fact about Lauren: A cool fact about me is that my family and I love to travel! We try and take one big trip a year. This summer we went down to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, and in May I went on a trip with my school to Europe :) Another cool fact is that I play lots of instruments: alto and tenor sax, flute, recorder, piano and guitar.

Future: I have no idea what the future holds for me, but I'm hoping it will be full of adventure, knowledge and love.

Pet Peeves: I really don't like it when people bite their nails, it's so gross :P
