Favourites: My favourite colour is green. I love drama, basketball, being outside, and I love to eat. My favourite food is spaghetti and meat balls.

Hobbies: I like to hang out with my friends, play basketball with my Dad, watch funny movies, listen to the radio, and just be outside doing active things because I don't like sitting around.

School & Stuff: I love drama and I'm in the 'Arts York' Drama program. I just did a play where I got to direct some of the choreography, do set design and costumes, and also perform in it. My second favourite subject is English because I love to write. In elementary school I was the basketball captain, I got the honour role, and a couple awards including the Principal's Award, the Drama Award and the English Award. I find high school to be much more fun than grade school. It's more work but the fun balances it out plus I get to meet a lot of new people.

Personality: I think I'm a very big nerd because I do homework all the time. My friends and family would say I'm energetic because I don't like sitting around doing nothing, I like to talk but I like to listen more. I'm very fun, I can be serious, I like to tell corny jokes, I like to be involved in organizations, I'm not a big fan of what's going on gossip-wise, and I like being on sports teams and organizing events.

Life Challenge: When I was a baby my family and I moved from Europe because of some hard times. I had to grow up with parents having to leave their family behind and their difficulties in having to go through that. I'm from Yugoslavia which is now called Serbia. My parents' families are still there but my grandma still contacts us. It's been a challenge because I don't have the chance to get to know that part of my family very much. I can hear my grandma's voice and send pictures but she doesn't really know me and it's tough and kind of sad. I really haven't had many challenges in my life because my parents always made the best for me. I'm lucky that I haven't had bad things to deal with. I'm so thankful for their support for what they do for me and my sister. Even at school, I don't bother with gossip so I don't get into those problems.

Proud of: I'm really proud of getting into the Unionville AY Drama program, and for being able to stay best friends with one of my friends since grade 2.

So Sandra: Telling corny jokes, staying up to midnight doing homework, wearing sweaters, being the person who is working late at night, saying something weird to break the awkward silence, being the teacher's pet, sleeping for half the class every day at first period, drinking coffee and eating for the other half and complaining about getting math homework is SOOOOO ME!!!

Cool Fact about Sandra: Most people don't know that I play piano and that I'm still in touch with some of my elementary school teachers.

Future: I know this one! I will be a Director and write my own screen plays and I will attend either a college or university that can help me with that.

Pet Peeves: Nails on a chalk board, when people wake me up during math class, when people ask questions and act like they already know the answer, when people watch what they eat for no reason, and people who only buy label brand clothes!
