K-Os - rap
MUSIC REVIEW, February 2011, by Sandra Dagovic
K-Os
Album: Joyful Rebellion
Artist: k-os
Label: Astralwerks
Genre: Rap
K-Os is one of my favorite artists who brings rap to another level of music. Their songs are integrated with singing and rap, as well as different styles such as funk and reggae. Their music is usually focused on promoting positive messages and goes against mainstream rap objectives such as fame, money, and materialistic ideologies. Some of my personal favorite songs are “Crabbuckit”, and “Man I Used To Be”. Their album is great to listen to when doing all that “fun” homework your teacher assigns, but mainly I love listening to them on my mp3 on those long bus rides because it puts me in a good mood. Enjoy!
