Faves: Green and Purple are two of my favourite colours. Perogies are my favorite food. I like a lot of different music, but some of the artist/groups I really like are Katy Perry, Shiloh, Ke$ha, Owl City, Taylor Swift and Lights. I love the show Cake Boss and Kate Plus Eight. My best friend in the whole entire world is Scott. We met at trampoline almost two years ago, and now even our parents are best friends!

Hobbies: I like to do a lot of different things, but I really enjoy skiing and photography.

School and Stuff: I have just started grade nine this year, and it is a lot different than elementary school! It is hard to get used to at the beginning, but it is a lot of fun once you get into it. My favourite subjects are Science and this year I really like Math!

Personality: My friends would describe me as a friendly, weird, and unique person. I am an individual and I don't really like to follow others. I think I have a great sense of humour because I can always make people laugh, even when they are mad or upset.

Life Challenge: One of my biggest life challenges, was when I was in grade five and my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was very scared and upset, and I was afraid to go anywhere in case something happened. I had never known anyone close to me with cancer before, so I really didn't know what to expect or how to deal with it. Now I am in grade nine and it has been four years since my mom was diagnosed. My mom's cancer is gone, and she is doing great. My message to anyone who is going through this is to go to the hospital with your family member or friend that is having the treatment, and see what goes on. Ask questions if you have any, and find out all that you can. It will make the experience a lot easier if you understand what is going on.

Proud of: Something I am proud of myself for doing is raising money for the Cancer Society. My friends and I started making key chains and selling them for a minimum donation of $3 each. We wanted to donate all the money we raised to the Cancer Society. Everyone was very generous, and some people even donated more than they were asked to! News reporters came to many of our events to help us get the word out. Even Rogers Television was on board, they gave us about 15 minutes to help get the word out. Over the course of one year we raised and donated about $3,000 dollars!

So Nadine: Wearing crazy clothing, always dying my hair crazy coulors, wearing sweat pants most of the time, always being on Facebook, hanging out with my best friends, laughing when I'm not supposed to and talking A LOT is sooo ME!

Cool fact about Nadine: A cool fact about me is that I spent a lot of time visiting my Aunt Audrey and her roommate Marie at the community nursing home. There are a lot of very sick people there that really like to see people come to visit.

Future: I'm not 100% sure what I want to do in my future, but I know I definitely want to go to University to become either a Veterinarian, Marine Biologist or maybe even a cancer Researcher.

Pet Peeves: My pet peeve is when people crack there knuckles! Is sounds so gross!

You're so G O R G E O U S ! Your story was very inspiring, and how you raised so much money for Breast Cancer, was even better. I can relate to you because I talk alot and my teachers always call me talkative which is weird but whatever :) And I laugh alot, and sometimes I have laugh attacks that I can't control, and if I'm getting introuble...
