Real Girl - Brittney

Age: 12 and 3/4 Sign: Virgo Grade: 7th

Favourites: the colour ocean blue, dark
chocolate with hazelnuts, sprinkles, sushi, hip hop music, summertime, my lab Maggie, Telus monkeys, Orlando Bloom, shoes!

Hobbies: I’m on a gymnastics team, I love Hip Hop dancing, hanging out with friends, shopping (for shoes), doing my art, skiing, traveling and going to movies

School: I’m on the student council
at school. My favourite subjects are
art, drama and sometimes gym.

Personality: I come across as shy sometimes, but when I’m with my friends I’m really fun. I’m  also a very caring person and love life.

Life Challenge: Getting up in the morning! I can sleep right through the alarm no matter how loud it is. I also get teased about being short. It hurts my feelings and my challenge is not letting it bother me or take it personally.

Proud of: The fact that I’m the only person in my family that doesn’t wear glasses. Also that I have been identified as gifted. I’ve done a lot of really cool projects because of the opportunities I’ve had through gifted programs and I feel lucky and grateful for all of it.

The Future: I want to travel the world and do professional Hip Hop dancing, or fashion design. Something creative.

So Brittney: Two different socks and running around to be ready at the last minute is so me! I love to laugh. Goofing around and finding reasons for fun is also very me.
