Real Girl Ashley


Age: 16   Grade: 11   Sign: Taurus

Favourites: Pink is my favourite colour. I love all kinds of music, especially songs you can dance to. I love dancing and drama and I’ve always loved posing for a camera. Tacos and mangoes are my favourite foods, Christmas is my favourite holiday, and I also love travelling, creating scrapbooks, warm weather and shopping!

Hobbies: I don’t really have too many hobbies because I’m a competitive dancer and that takes up a lot of my time. I do jazz, lyrical hip hop and cheer leading. However, when I am not dancing I like being with my friends, playing football, acting, making people laugh, going shopping, getting my nails done or listening to music.

School & Stuff: I am currently in grade 11. My favourite subjects would include Drama, English and Business. Last year I was part of three dance teams at my school and I hope to run my own team this year.

Personality: My friends would describe me as being funny, dependable, fun, outgoing and very talkative. For the most part I would agree with how my friends
describe me but I also see myself as creative and very easy-going. I love my friends, they mean everything to me. I think I have a good sense of humour and I definitely have a loud laugh!

Life Challenge: I am actually very grateful because I haven’t really had any major life challenges, but that’s not to say my life is perfect and if I was to encounter a major life challenge I would just try to stay strong and get through it. I have struggled with understanding jealousy among girls. It seems to happen a lot, and I really try to not let it bother me. I prefer to hang out with my friends who support each other. My message to other girls is to just be yourself, let people know who you are and don’t change for any reason. Have good friends and laugh a lot!

Proud of: I’m really proud of achieving a high level of dance, performing and being on stage. Mostly I’m proud of my personality and myself in general.

So Ashley: Telling jokes and taking life seriously at the same time, having great friends, cheering people up withhumour, dancing all the time, and listening to music is SO ME! I am also very into fashion and checking out the latest trends, however, I don’t let the latest trends in clothing determine my sense of style. I believe that you won’t get anywhere in life by following others, therefore I try hard to be my own person and not let others tell how I should act, dress or look.

Cool Fact about Ashley: I have a close relationship with my parents. Also, I can do really good impressions.

Future: I’d like to get my Masters in Business and maybe be the Executive of a company some day. I definitely want to have no money issues, a stable career and be able to pursue my love of drama and dance. I may even open a night club where dance is somehow related.

Pet Peeves: Emotionless people drive me crazy when they just sit there and say nothing with no expression.
