COSTUME IDEAS
or What
to do if you're
staying in...

Jessica:
It’s that time again, Halloween!

Brittney:
I know, and some of you have been writing in asking us for ideas.

Jessica:
Here are the best ones from last year and a couple new ones. Also, check out the Ask a Guy and Ask a  Girl sections for other ideas.

Brittney:
Yeah, and if you don’t trick or treat then check out our ideas of what else to
do on Halloween. Have fun!

Part 1: COSTUME IDEAS

1. Japanese Doll:
paint your face white and have rosy cheeks in perfect circles. Tie your hair in two side buns and wear socks with flip flops and a cute dress.
2. Nerd:
tie your hair in pigtails, wear pants that are too short and pull them up high. put a few pens in your shirt pocket and wear glasses with tape in the middle. Use a knapsack for your candy bag.
3. Cereal killer:
attach little cereal boxes to your shirt, cut a slit in the boxes and glue plastic knives in the holes. Drip red paint from the knives.
4. Stick person:
wear all black, and get some thin glow sticks. Stick the glow sticks along your arms, legs, and body like a stick person.
5. Fashion Police:
dress in all black and wear a police hat. Tie a whistle around your neck for fashion emergencies, then glamour it up! Wear a feather boa, makeup and a purse for your candy.
6. Rag Doll:
wear a jumper or a babydoll shirt with leggings, cute flats, and pigtails with ribbons. Draw a few freckles with eyeliner, and use mascara for long eyelashes.
7. Group Costumes:
if your going out with a bunch of friends, and can’t decide what to wear, dress up together! Be characters from your fave tv shows/ movies/books, or even just be each other or typical stereotypes. (Jock, brainiac, punk rocker, class clown, cheerleader etc.)

Part 2: 10 things to do on Halloween
if you don’t want to go trick or treating:

1.
Make cupcakes and decorate them to look spooky.
2.
Dress up in a costume and hand out candy with your BFF.
3.
Watch scary movies in the dark with all your friends.
4. Light candles and tell scary stories with your BFF’s while sitting in a circle in the dark (remember to blow out the candles!)
5.
Have a pumpkin carving contest.
6.
Throw a Halloween party and dress up with all of your friends.
7.
See what’s happening in your area... there’s always something fun going on for Halloween like a haunted house or corn a field maze.
8.
Make your own scary video, like the Blair Witch project.
9.
Make caramel or candy apples and roll them in sprinkles! Then eat them, of course.
10.
Decorate your house with a lawn graveyard for Halloween with all your friends. Find old clothes and stuff them to make monsters!

Happy Halloween!
