Faves: My Favourite colour is PURPLE!!!!I love chocolate (I am a chocoholic) and I would love to go to Europe. I love every different kind of music but my favourite is P!NK. My favourite TV show right now is The Vampire Diaries. Winter is my favourite season because my birthday is in February.

Hobbies: I love to swim and make jewellery. In the summer I like to look at the night sky through my telescope. I love to hangout with my friends outside but I rarely go to the mall. I have two wiener dogs – Dash and Charlie who I enjoy walking.

School and Stuff: I love school because I get to see all of my friends. My fave subjects are History, Science and Geography. I don’t know why but I really enjoy learning about them. I am in these clubs: STAR (Students Together Against Racism), PROPS (this is for the grade 1-3 classes at recess to do some fun activities and I help run it.), CCLC (Cross Canada Leadership Committee with GCDA), and I am still in Girl Guides. I also started a girls club at my school.

Personality: My friends and family would say I am funny, outgoing, can make fun of any situation, a leader, bubbly, and goofy.

Life Challenge: All my life I have been bullied. If it was emotional, verbal, or physical I have had it all! The worst was grade 5 when no one at the school would listen to me because they didn’t think I was telling the truth about someone who was bullying me. My parents really supported me and fought hard to make things right. I’ve learned a lot from it and I handle those types of situations better now. I am proud of myself that I have gone through the things I went through and I manage to always keep my head held high. I want to let every other girl know that if you are getting bullied tell someone. It doesn’t matter who, just remember if you’re the victim and they are harming you there is someone who can help.

Proud of: That I am Canadian! That I can make jewellery to give to people for presents. Going through the bullying in my life until now and knowing that I am a good person so even though the words they used hurt I am still able to hold my head high. I have started a girls club at school with some of the focus being placed on self esteem so I can help other girls feel good about who they are. I'm also proud of how close I am with my family, especially me and my Mom because we like to shop and do things together. We’re the only girls in the family since I have 2 older brothers and my Dad, so we stick together.

So Jen: Always being 'casually' late, laughing when there is dead silence, hanging with my guy friends, dying my hair different colours, BEING LOUD! and being active in my community and school are sooo ME!

Cool Fact About Jen: I am involved with GCDA's Cross Canada Leadership Committee (check out my page!), I have two wiener dogs Dash, and Charlie, and most of my best friends are guys.

Future: I want to travel all over the world, have a family with 3 kids, get some sort of job that I'm not sure of yet, but I would like to go to University and learn 8-10 different languages!

Pet Peeves: When people crack their knuckles and fingers. When my parents make me clean my room.
