Real Girl: Kristal

Age: 12 Grade: 7 Sign: Leo

Faves: My favorite colours would have to be yellow and purple. My favorite holidays are both Halloween and Christmas. I love pasta and my fave TV show is ‘Vampire Diaries’.

Hobbies: I love skiing with my friends and my dad, I love reading and my favourite types of books are mystery, fantasy and girl drama. I also love to go shopping and hang out with my friends. In the summer I like to spend time at our summer place up in Honey Harbour and go waterskiing, wakeboarding and swimming with my friends and family.

School & Stuff: My favorite subjects are Music and Art. I am a member of the Spirit Committee and I was also a member of the Eco Team for three years. My best subject would probably be math, even though I don’t really like the subject, but I know that it is an important subject to learn.

Personality: My friends and family would probably say that I am unique, fun, crazy and a good friend. I’d also add that I am nice and funny with a good sense of humor.

Life Challenge: I'm lucky enough not to have a big life challenge, but if I had to choose one it would probably be that I am skinny. People will say stuff like what they would say if you were overweight. I have been called names like short or small fry, but it's not as bad as being bullied. The thing is I don’t try to be skinny, I can't help it. It’s very hard to find clothes that fit and things that will look good on me because I’m so short and thin. But I have learned to love my body and I realized that it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks as long as I'm happy with my self. My message to other girls who experience the same thing would be to not worry about it because everyone grows at different times.

Proud of: Something I am proud of is my grades. I’ve done a lot better in my grades from this year to last year and it makes me happy to see that I can improve. I wanted to prove I could do better and I knew I could.

So Kristal: Reading, chewing gum, listening to music, texting my friends, playing with my Dalmatian Snooker, always saying ‘like’ (and it drives my mom crazy!), hanging out with my friends all the time and doing my hair is soooo me!!

Cool fact about Kristal: A cool fact about me is that I can water-ski, wakeboard, ski and I want to learn how to snowboard. I love all the water and snow sports. I have been skiing since I was four and I can ski the same hills as my dad (and he has been skiing since he was ten)!

Future: In the near future I want to learn to play the drums better because I play them in music class at school and I love it! When I get older I want to be a photographer.

Pet Peeve: My number one pet peeve is when people crack their knuckles. I can’t stand the sound; it’s like fingernails on a chalk board for me! Another one of my pet peeves is when people are hypocrites, it just really bugs me.

Aww you're really cute! I know you probably hate being called cute but you are! You're the only person with a blog here that's my age as far as I know. Kristal, my older sister has the same problem about being skinny and small and stuff. I'm taller than her!!! Your shoes in that picture are really cool, by the way.
