Real Girl: Naella


Age: 16  Grade: 11 Sign: Aries

Favourites: My fave colours are red, black and green. I absolutely love cookie dough ice cream. I also love fall fashion, comedy movies, peppermint tea, hot chocolate and the side choice ‘potatoes and chives’ at Wendys!

Hobbies: Shopping and shopping! I like texting, hanging with my friends, watching movies, spending time with my wonderful family... and sadly to say I’m a WORKAHOLIC!

School & Stuff: I must say this year I’m taking school very seriously. My semester is awesome. I have co-op in the morning half, which means I get to be at a workplace instead of going to school and get high school credits for it! The cool part is that my placement is working at GCDA! It’s totally exciting. I then have two afternoon classes which are law and journalism which are really intense, but better than four classes..

Personality: My mom says I’m so LOUD! I think I’m a really outgoing person who loves to laugh. At times I can be a total goof! I stand up for myself and others. I love to constantly be positive and look at the bright side. I am a really caring person and a good listener.

Life Challenge: I am very thankful because I really don’t have any big life challenges although my life isn’t perfect. If I were to come across a major challenge, I would stay strong, be myself, and stay positive. I’m also lucky because I have an awesome support team, my lovely family and amazing friends! My Mom especially is always by my side! She taught me how to have good morals, ambitions and just to be myself!

Proud of: I’m so proud of where I am now. 16 is the hardest age for a teenage girl, and I think I’m getting through it really well. I live the busiest life ever... I’m managing to handle school, night school and a very significant job and still have time for family and friends! It takes a lot of work but it’s all worth it!

So Naella: Being a workaholic, wearing mascara, acrylic nails, trackpants, my shoe collection, and red hair are sooo me!

Cool Fact about Naella: I have traveled everywhere in the Middle East. I’ve been to Jordan, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Egypt, Syria, Turkey and Kuwait. Being to those places was great. I learned so much more about my culture and where my parents come from. It was exciting to see all the different historical sites and different people.

Future: I’d like to go to a school in the states (Atlanta, to be exact) and my major will be in business; mainly human resources. Eventually I will become a millionaire! I also want to travel to see ancient historical sites.

Pet Peeves: I hate it when people say they will do something and never end up doing it. Also when people back down from what they have to say.
